Encore Invitation

Encore Invitation (aka Tootie) - 1999 Brown/Black mare imported this January from America. As her pedigree indicates she is bred for pleasure riding and all that entails. She is an extremely laid back mare with the sweetest disposition.

Tootie after only a short stay at Widden Close went straight to Mary Griggs in Somerset to commence her evaluation and training for the 2006 show season. She is being shown in Halter Aged Mares, Western Pleasure and Trail. With Mary’s handling/partnership she has gained numerous wins and placings in her respective disciplines. To date she has twice been awarded Grand Champion Mare in Halter; several wins and placings in Western Pleasure and one win and several placings in Trail. At her latest outing she won the Open Pleasure Derby at the Garden of England Show at Bodiam. Tootie also has eight Open Show All Round Awards, an Open ROM in Performance and an Amateur ROM in Performance.

News! I am thrilled to announce that as of 27th May 2007 Tootie qualified as an AQHA Champion.  Tootie will continue to be shown by Mary Larcom until the end of the UK show season when she will be retired to hopefully produce a few quality foals. At the 17th European Championship of American Quarter Horses held at Krueth in Germany, Encore Invitation aka Tootie gained a Silver Medal in Halter Aged Mares and after qualifying under four judges for the final in Open Senior Western Pleasure gained a 7th Place under five judges. Tootie was shown there by Mary Griggs.
